Today was a day of not riding. My aunt, Mary Lou, and my cousin Mike, with his family, came down to visit for the afternoon. So this afternoon, we had 10 adults, an almost 4 year old and an almost 2 year old. The crazy time was when we all piled downstairs for the Wii Challenge. Mike tended to win at most of what he played; Mother gave us a demonstration on how the obstacle course is supposed to be run; and Mike had 2 people trying to show him how to move his hips in the numbers game.
Out of the mouth of babes: Dad noticed a scratch on the back of Mike and Jamie's vehicle, and said, "Got a little close to something." Lily promptly says, "Got a little close to the mailbox!" She'll be 4 in August.
Before the afternoon madness began, I went out to take more pictures. Mainly stayed in what could be called my parents neighborhood. Went back towards the mountains, but just on Old Cades Cove Road, which is off of Old Tuckaleechee Rd. After that, I went about 3 miles or so past the split on River Road, towards Cades Cove.
Pics!
