239 - Ziegler Family

Sisters of Tom Ziegler were at the closing performance of Home Games at ABET last night.  (The sisters are front row (sitting) in the photo above.  Back row is the cast of Home Games.)  One lives here in town and the other lives in Venice, just south of Sarasota, FL.  They loved the show, and made the comment that this is how Tom wanted the show done.

I was videoing again last night, and at intermission I asked them if they would be so kind to stay and let me take a couple still photos of them with the cast and crew.  They were thrilled to stay.  After the photos were taken, Ann (in red above) called her brother, waking him up, then passed the phone around to each cast member and the director.  To quote Matt (who played Frank) when he said hello to Tom on the phone, "I'm on cloud 9 right now. Can't believe I'm talking with you on the phone."  What an awesome thing for the cast members to experience that night.

Ann asked if I would send her a copy of the DVD when I'm done.  Of course!  Then she said she wanted to send it too her brother.  Oh!!  Ok. No pressure to do a good job.  :-)
